JUSTIN FISCHER, PRESIDENT

Justin is a trail and road runner who especially enjoys group runs and mountain terrain. He started running for exercise as a replacement for playing basketball. His favorite running friend is his dog Juniper, a very cute bernedoodle. He loves showing people the trails near Moscow and Pullman (and the Wallowa mountains). Justin served as the race director for the Snake River Canyon Half Marathon in 2019, 2020, and 2021. His current personal running goal is to run every street in Pullman. Justin’s other favorite activities include board and role-playing games, hiking, backpacking, and skiing.

ADAM WILLIAMS, VICE PRESIDENT

Adam balances his professional day job at WSU, teaching yoga at Sanctuary, and endless miles on the trail and road. Familiar with ultramarathons, including podium finishes in 200+ milers, Adam continues to develop his long distance appetite while seeking adventure on the trail beyond formal racing. With PRR he is able to connect with others in all forms of running at every level to continue to build a community on the Palouse. Feel free to reach out to Adam about daily training, long-distance trail or road running, wilderness adventures, and cross-training... including joining either of his weekly hot yoga classes!

BLANCA BILADEAU

Blanca is an integral part of managing PRR’s membership and communications. You may also see her in a bear suit at some of our races and events. Stay tuned for a bio, it’s hard to write with bear paws!

RICHARD GAYLER, SECRETARY

Richard has always enjoyed running but become a more devoted runner only in the past 9 years. Running race adventures are his passion whether it be on the trail or on the road. He places a high priority on staying healthy and values the physical and mental benefits that a healthy lifestyle brings him. He seems to be busier now in retirement than he ever was while working, but he’s glad he has time to spend volunteering with PRR and helping all of us to stay active and engaged with running.

MICHAEL DECKER, SOCIAL MEDIA

Michael started running in the early 2010s when he worked and lived at a ski resort. He believes that running centers his mind, and maintains that he wrote every paper for his graduate degree in his phone notes app while running on Moscow Mountain. This mind-body connection is what attracts him to running trails. You can probably find him running on Moscow Mountain with his dog, Trout, most days of the week. Michael is excited to help PRR with social media outreach and organizing races and events

SARAH HUSTON

Sarah is a trail runner that has a real passion for supporting others. Pacing and crewing at races is where she feels the most fulfilled, helping her friends push through those long, tough miles. She is often found long running in the Wallowa’s, summiting the highest peaks or on local trails. She joined PRR in 2025 in hopes to be more involved in the local running community by helping organize running events and helping runners accomplish their goals. When she isn’t running, she can be found spending time with her Newfoundland, Larry.

LIZ MARTIN, TREASURER

Liz is the backbone of PRR finances and race co-director for Moscow Mountain Madness. She’s so busy keeping the rest of us in line, we don’t have a complete bio or photo yet!

TORREY STEPHENSON

Torrey rediscovered his love for running after a nearly 10-year hiatus when he moved to Moscow in 2020. As a graduate student studying ecology, he quickly realized that Moscow Mountain was the perfect place for “foot-powered field exploration” (aka running, biking, and skiing). Some of his first connections in the area came through the PRR community, which has since made the Palouse feel like home. As the University of Idaho student representative, he now has the perfect excuse to step away from the lab and join PRR’s weekly runs, track practices, and races!

OLGA HAWRANICK, WSU STUDENT REP

Olga’s new to the Palouse this year but is thrilled to be already connected with the running community here! She hails from Almost Heaven, West Virginia + grew more addicted to trails during her time in Boise, Idaho. Olga loves to explore and enjoys getting distracted on runs (esp. hilly ones) with fun conversations. She’s excited to help give back to the running community with PRR. When she’s not running, you can expect her to be math-ing at WSU, crocheting, or petting her roommate’s dog, Jax!

SCOTT MACKEY

Scott has been running various distances for over 25 years after picking up the habit in college down in Arizona. Trail running is the most fun but sometimes a good long road run after a swim and bike ride is what he really needs. Joining the PRR in order to become more connected with the local running community, he now maintains the website and oversees the Pullman Winter Ultras. Outside running, he’s plotting peaks to bag and taking film photos of the outdoors.

GABBY FEBER, TRACK COACH

Gabby’s bio is coming soon, but if you really want to know her why not show up for a Track Tuesday practice?!

MICHAEL KULAS

Michael recently found running again after a 2-year burnout from collegiate sprinting. As a former sprinter, he's not too familiar with roads but found the beauty in trail running. He loves to go running and hiking (mostly hiking) on Moscow Mountain. You can usually find Michael helping out with Track Tuesdays or at Hunga Dunga after Monday group runs. Michael is excited to help PRR with social media outreach and organizing races and events.
